Role Overview
The RF Test Engineer will help characterize the performance of Elve’s products and systems. This includes designing, developing, and implementing testing and quality assurance frameworks. The role involves hands-on RF measurements, operating high-voltage test equipment (up to 15 kV), and creating automated test procedures in Python. Engineers in this position gain exposure to a wide range of technical challenges and have opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative team.
What You Will Do
- Tune, test, and troubleshoot RF microwave devices
- Measure S-parameters for passive and active devices
- Assess amplifier gain, power transfer, and stability
- Operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, diode detectors, power meters, vector network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
- Work with waveguides, waveguide couplers, coaxial cables, and high-voltage power supplies
