The Sales & Business Development Lead is a pivotal role focused on driving revenue growth and strategic commercial initiatives across various sectors, including Government (B2G), Corporate (B2B), Direct-to-Consumer (B2C), and third-party platform monetization. This role encompasses the structuring and negotiation of high-value commercial agreements, enhancing direct sales in VIP and hospitality sectors, and broadening the organization’s event ecosystem through collaborations with external organizers. Combining deal-making expertise with direct revenue ownership and platform growth strategies, this position aims to facilitate sustainable top-line growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Government (B2G) Initiatives
• Formulate and execute comprehensive commercial strategies for government-supported initiatives and mandates.
• Create detailed commercial proposals, master plans, and pricing structures tailored for Ministries, Authorities, and Royal Commissions.
• Develop Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and long-term commercial frameworks.
• Negotiate project scopes, pricing, and contractual terms to align with profitability goals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the execution of commercially viable projects.
• Establish a robust pipeline strategy and revenue forecasting for government engagements.
2. Business to Business (B2B) & Platform Commercialization
• Identify and secure strategic B2B partnerships across ticketing, third-party event organizers, hospitality services, distribution channels, venue utilization, and premium experience offerings.
• Structure revenue-sharing and commercial agreements effectively.
• Lead negotiations with institutional buyers and enterprise clients.
• Oversee the onboarding and commercial structuring of third-party event organizers utilizing NOFOMO for ticketing solutions.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and operations teams to guarantee seamless onboarding and integration processes.
• Develop recurring revenue streams through ecosystem expansion and monitor pipeline health, forecasting revenue, and tracking performance metrics.
3. Direct-to-Consumer (B2C) & VIP Direct Sales
• Direct sales initiatives for VIP and hospitality products, including exclusive boxes, balconies, tables, and premium access packages.
• Own the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to closure, focusing on high-value clientele.
• Implement structured sales frameworks to optimize inventory turnover and yield.
• Mentor and manage a team of sales agents and promoters, establishing KPIs and monitoring outcomes.
• Utilize CRM systems to track revenue forecasts and ensure visibility into the sales pipeline.
• Optimize revenue per attendee through strategic packaging and upselling techniques.
• Analyze market demand trends to inform pricing strategies and product positioning.
