Role overview
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager will be based in Lisbon and lead a team of SDRs focused on generating sales pipeline across several European markets. This leadership role is central to expanding both outbound and inbound sales efforts as Pleo continues to grow.
This position fits someone who enjoys mentoring early-career sales talent, building scalable processes, and seeing the impact of their team’s work reflected in closed business.
Collaboration and reporting
The SDR Manager reports directly to the VP of Commercial. The role works closely with Revenue Operations, Marketing, Account Executives, Enablement, and People teams to make sure SDRs have the support and resources they need from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a Lisbon-based SDR team, focusing on both outbound and inbound pipeline generation for multiple European markets.
- Take ownership of the team’s pipeline contribution targets by tracking activity metrics, monitoring conversion rates, and ensuring pipeline quality.
- Design and refine outreach playbooks, including sequences, messaging, target personas, and objection handling, tailored to different markets.
