Role Overview
We are on the lookout for an ambitious and results-driven Sales Director & Team Lead to spearhead the enterprise adoption of Tidy3D at Flexcompute. This pivotal role encompasses achieving a personal sales quota focused on strategic EM, photonics, and RF accounts, while simultaneously mentoring and guiding a high-performing sales team.

In this role, you will shape the go-to-market strategy for Tidy3D, influence our electromagnetic sales structure, secure flagship enterprise agreements, and collaborate with the most innovative leaders in the semiconductor, photonics, AR/VR, and RF industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a personal quota related to key enterprise EM, photonics, and RF accounts.
- Oversee the full sales cycle from initial discovery to closing.
- Foster strong relationships with senior engineering executives.
- Mentor and lead a team of Account Executives.
- Develop a data-driven sales culture anchored in KPIs and analytics.
- Own the go-to-market strategy specific to Tidy3D.
- Present persuasive technical-business value propositions for Tidy3D.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Over 10 years of experience in enterprise SaaS, technology, EDA, or CAE sales.
- Demonstrated success in closing significant EM, photonics, RF, or semiconductor enterprise contracts.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in leading or mentoring quota-carrying teams.
- Strong grasp of EM simulation concepts.
- Highly analytical with a focus on forecasting and KPI management.
- Exceptional communication skills tailored for both technical and executive audiences.

- Achievement of personal and team sales quotas.
- Securing strategic enterprise contracts.
- Growth in sales pipeline and accuracy of forecasts.
