Sales Engineer – Equals Money
Join Equals Money as a Sales Engineer and contribute your technical expertise to our sales process. This vital role acts as a liaison between our commercial and technical teams, ensuring that both prospective and existing clients fully grasp the value, capabilities, and integrations of our Platform-as-a-Service solutions.
The Sales Engineer is instrumental in guiding the sales cycle from initial discovery to contract signing, delivering technical insights, crafting solution designs, and conducting hands-on demonstrations of Equals’ APIs and services.

You’re adept at navigating API-driven financial products and can engage effectively with both developers and non-technical stakeholders.
Your experience with large enterprise clients allows you to translate their technical and commercial needs into feasible, well-defined solutions.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Implementation teams to create scalable and secure solutions.
Experience in B2B payments, card issuing, or embedded finance is advantageous but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Sales team throughout the pre-sales phase to design and deliver customized technical solutions that align with customer needs.
Conduct technical discovery sessions with prospects, particularly large enterprise clients, to understand their systems, compliance requirements, and integration objectives.
Architect and propose technical designs, ensuring that integrations are scalable, compliant, and compatible with Equals’ product offerings.
Create and document Statements of Work (SoWs) during the sales process, clearly defining deliverables, scope, and implementation assumptions.
Assist with large RFP (Request for Proposal) and due diligence processes, providing detailed technical input and responses that accurately represent Equals’ capabilities.
Showcase Equals’ platform features through live demonstrations, sandbox testing, and API walkthroughs.
Translate customer requirements into clear technical recommendations, integration outlines, and solution documentation.
Work closely with Product and Implementation teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to onboarding, maintaining continuity for the client.
Contribute to the continuous enhancement of sales engineering processes, demo environments, and supporting documentation.
