Essential Qualifications:5–10 years of experience in B2B sales, particularly with OEM machine builders in packaging and technical fields. Demonstrated success in selling comprehensive machine control solutions. A robust personal network with key OEMs, especially in the Packaging Valley. Highly self-motivated and independent, displaying a strong work ethic and resilience in challenging situations. Knowledgeable in industrial automation products and systems, including cloud software solutions, motion controllers, PLCs, HMIs, inverters, servo drives, and motors, as well as CRM platforms. Language proficiency: Native Italian and professional English skills required. A valid B driver's license and ideally residing in the Bologna area.

About the job

As a Sales Manager at Delta Electronics, you will take charge of achieving revenue targets for our Industrial Automation products and solutions in your designated area. Your role will involve driving new business opportunities, expanding key accounts, and collaborating closely with distributors, system integrators, and OEMs. You will be supported by a dedicated team including Product Managers, Field Application Engineers, and Customer Service & Support personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a sustainable business within your assigned area by leveraging Delta's diverse product portfolio and expertise in core technologies.
  • Focus on generating new business while coordinating efforts with partners in the area to prevent conflicts.
  • Identify and engage potential new customers, including system integrators, OEMs, and end-users.
  • Achieve and surpass assigned sales targets.
  • Travel within your territory to connect with existing and prospective customers.
  • Actively contribute product, market, competition, and customer insights to management and the product management team.
  • Implement new product launches within your territory for customers and prospects.
  • Work collaboratively with customer support and technical teams.
  • Report on sales activities and performance.
