As the Sales Operations Manager at ATEC Spine, you will play a pivotal role in equipping our global sales team with essential tools and services to effectively execute our strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will encompass analytics, revenue forecasting, sales reporting, and communication, ensuring that our sales channels operate seamlessly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate strategic planning initiatives, aligning efforts among Senior Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders. Focus on developing a process that not only meets business requirements but consistently enhances the forecasting process.
- Contribute to the formulation of the long-term sales strategy, including the development of 3-year plans and strategic investments.
- Oversee and execute monthly and quarterly field communications for the sales team.
- Assist in crafting engaging presentations by preparing PowerPoint slides, conducting thorough research, and performing analytics.
- Manage the collection and organization of materials for various meetings, ensuring timely submission and integration of department-specific content into cohesive operational documents.
- Provide support to the Executive Vice President of Sales, Sales Leadership Team, Direct Sales Representatives, and ATEC Distributors.
- Oversee data management, system integration, and reporting across SAP, Power BI, and Salesforce.com.
- Support the planning, execution, and training for new systems and processes.
- Develop and maintain insightful metrics and analyses that drive informed decision-making.
- Assist in upstream and downstream sales recruiting, focusing on sales forecasts, compensation structures, team configurations, and performance tracking.
- Manage Business Unit structures and headcount strategies.
- Facilitate the new sales onboarding process to ensure representatives are equipped to sell effectively from day one.
- Support territory alignments and hiring strategies based on market opportunity assessments.
- Contribute to the design of sales compensation plans and strategies.
- Analyze sales costs to serve and identify areas for improvement.
- Integrate market intelligence from customers, competitors, and internal departments to bolster our competitive stance.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures to execute responsibilities efficiently; may provide insights on major policies or issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
