Job Purpose

In the role of Salesforce Client Portfolio Manager, you will act as a strategic advisor and commercial leader, managing complex Salesforce delivery streams to secure the enduring success of our global clientele. You will oversee the comprehensive health and revenue growth of your Salesforce portfolio, balancing meticulous program management with strategic relationship cultivation. By leading cross-functional teams and uncovering untapped opportunities within the Salesforce ecosystem (Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce, and Data Cloud), you will empower clients to maximize their platform ROI while achieving portfolio profitability and expansion goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Client Partners to identify, qualify, and secure upsell and cross-sell opportunities, crafting customized Salesforce roadmaps that utilize new clouds, features, and AI capabilities to drive long-term revenue growth.
  • Manage the execution of complex Salesforce implementations, overseeing budget, scope, and timeline, ensuring that technical excellence underpins account expansion.
  • Contribute to the development of Statements of Work (SOWs) and proposals, converting intricate Salesforce technical architecture into compelling business value narratives for C-suite stakeholders.
  • Guide and mentor cross-functional delivery teams (Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners), ensuring adherence to Salesforce Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices and training them to identify client challenges that indicate new business opportunities.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to demonstrate platform health and ROI, proactively address risks, and secure approval for future project phases.
  • Oversee portfolio Profit and Loss (P&L), including margin health, resource utilization, and contract renewals, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to delivery.
  • Serve as the internal advocate for the client while maintaining a strong understanding of Astound’s commercial interests to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
