Full-Time Shopify Administrator
About the Role
We are on the lookout for a meticulous and highly organized Full-Time Shopify Administrator who will oversee the daily backend operations of various client Shopify stores. This pivotal role ensures that each store operates smoothly, remains technically robust, and is primed for high-impact marketing and promotional activities.
In this position, you will engage directly with the Shopify backend, taking ownership of catalog accuracy, setting up promotions, managing app administration, and executing minor theme updates. This role demands a focus on execution, precision, and a strong sense of operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Catalog & Inventory Management
- Oversee product listings, variants, collections, and maintain inventory accuracy across multiple Shopify and Shopify Plus stores.
- Ensure that product data, pricing, and availability are continuously accurate and updated.
Store Operations & Promotions
- Establish, test, and implement discount codes, automatic promotions, bundles, and tiered pricing strategies.
- Support marketing initiatives by verifying that all promotions are properly configured and quality assured prior to launch.
Technical Maintenance
- Regularly monitor stores for site errors, broken links, or checkout issues.
- Identify and rectify common technical or app-related problems to guarantee a seamless customer experience.
App Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain Shopify applications (e.g., subscriptions, loyalty, reviews).
- Diagnose app conflicts and coordinate necessary updates.
Theme & Site Updates
- Implement minor updates to the site using the Shopify Theme Editor.
- Publish new theme versions while ensuring updates do not disrupt live store operations.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing the Shopify or Shopify Plus backend.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in product data and promotional setup.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot common Shopify, app, and checkout issues.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple client accounts effectively.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for minor front-end modifications.
- Experience with Shopify page builders (e.g., PageFly, Gempages).
- Familiarity with the Shopify app ecosystem, including tools like Recharge, Klaviyo, Loyalty & Reviews apps.

- Stores consistently maintain accuracy, stability, and readiness for promotions.
- Marketing campaigns launch without errors or the need for last-minute adjustments.
- Technical issues are proactively identified and resolved.
