Experience: A minimum of 8 years leading 24/7 SOC or cyber operations teams within enterprise environments. Tools: Proficiency with SIEM, SOAR, IDS/IPS, EDR, ticketing/case management, and SOC performance dashboards. Certifications: CISSP is required; CISM, GCIH, GIAC, or equivalent are preferred. Clearance: TS, SCI-eligible.

SOSi is on the lookout for an experienced Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager to bolster our DHS enterprise cybersecurity program, which provides 24/7 SOC services. This strategic role encompasses leadership, operational oversight, and technical expertise within cyber defense, incident response, intelligence, engineering, and modernization activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage SOC operations across Tier 1–3, including shift management, incident escalation, and performance oversight.
  • Analyze SOC metrics and service levels, implementing process improvements to enhance detection and response capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, threat intelligence, and incident response teams to ensure cohesive cyber defense operations.
  • Manage staffing, training, and readiness of the watch floor to align with DHS mission tempo.
    Provide operational reporting and briefings to government stakeholders.
