Role overview

The Senior Account Manager shapes ongoing customer relationships after the initial sale. This position focuses on driving renewals, supporting account growth, and building long-term success for both clients and Zip Security. Managing a portfolio of clients, the Senior Account Manager works to ensure retention, spot growth opportunities, minimize churn, and develop trust with key stakeholders. The role suits someone with commercial acumen, strong relationship-building skills, and an interest in helping define the Account Management function from the ground up.

What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of customers: Serve as the primary contact for all commercial matters.
  • Facilitate renewals: Oversee the renewal process, from identifying risks early to closing renewals. Deliver accurate forecasts and meet renewal targets.
  • Drive account expansion: Work with clients to uncover new use cases and growth paths. Lead upsell and cross-sell efforts to increase account value.
  • Build strong customer relationships: Develop connections with multiple stakeholders in each account and act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate across teams: Work with Sales, Product, and Support to achieve customer outcomes and align internal teams to support client success.
