We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at CGA Consulting. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the meticulous preparation of financial records.
• You will prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and various financial reports to ensure their accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards.
• Regular auditing will be part of your responsibilities, which includes reviewing the organization's accounts, assessing risks, evaluating current practices, investigating any financial discrepancies, and proposing improvements.
• You will analyze business operations, costs, revenues, and financial commitments to forecast future revenues and expenses or to provide strategic advice.
• Your role will also involve reviewing, implementing, and adapting both new and existing financial systems and controls.
• You will be responsible for producing and analyzing monthly and annual accounts and providing timely financial reports as needed.
Payroll management will include overseeing expenditure, credit, payroll, and investments.
• You will advise management on financial policies and controls, including the cost-benefit analysis of specific projects.
In terms of regulatory compliance, you will address tax issues, ensuring adherence to all relevant tax legislation.
• You will compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns while ensuring compliance with reporting and payment requirements.
• Additionally, you will develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing regular reports that compare budgeted costs to actual expenditures.
