Your Profile
We seek an Advanced Settlements Manager who exudes confidence, clarity, and motivation in a complex environment. You should thrive on taking ownership, enjoy leading teams, and utilize insights to enhance performance. To qualify for this role, you must possess:
- Demonstrated experience in the UK energy sector, preferably in settlements, smart metering, or a similar back-office setting
- In-depth understanding of the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC), settlement processes, and industry data flows
- Proven track record in team management and driving operational excellence through data analysis and process optimization
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and nurturing a high-performing team focused on advanced settlement outcomes
- Overseeing advanced settlement KPIs and enhancing performance across settlement activities and data flows
- Serving as a primary liaison with industry bodies, including Elexon
- Promoting automation, efficiency, and continuous enhancements in settlement processes
- Leveraging insights to minimize financial risks and enhance customer experiences
