The Senior Architect Engineer will be instrumental in managing and coordinating all architectural and construction-related activities associated with the Roshn 1B project. This key position requires active engagement in early construction planning, site preparation, technical coordination, quality management, and direct oversight of on-site activities. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership, profound technical knowledge, and collaborative skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the project's success in terms of timeline, quality, and budget.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Resident Engineer in early-stage construction planning, including conduct constructability reviews, assess material availability, and initiate site investigations with contractors.
- Provide construction-related insights for Project Procedures and the Project Quality Plan.
- Define site infrastructure requirements, develop field staffing schedules, create job descriptions, and analyze construction equipment needs.
- Advance to the site prior to construction to oversee the setup of temporary facilities and essential services (communications, housing, medical, transportation, and equipment).
- Establish and manage field operations in accordance with project contracts and HanmiGlobal standards.
- Lead on-site construction activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives concerning time, quality, and cost.
- Facilitate weekly progress meetings and technical discussions to monitor advancement and resolve on-site challenges.
- Collaborate with the Senior Resident Engineer to guarantee sufficient staffing for Field Control/Report systems.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Review contractor progress and completion reports.
- Assist in evaluating and discussing contractor claims.
- Review contractor valuations (payments).
- Compile project close-out reports upon handover.
- Complete any additional tasks specified in the Construction Division Manual.
