As a Senior Automation Engineer within the Process R&D team, you will design, develop, and implement cutting-edge automation solutions to enhance both production processes and new system developments. Your primary objective is to create high-efficiency, low-cost, and highly reliable automated systems, aligning with our vision for an unmanned smart factory.

This position demands a robust understanding of industrial automation technologies, including PLC and HMI programming, robotics, motion control, and industrial communication protocols. You will collaborate closely with mechanical, vision, and process engineers to ensure the smooth integration of automation solutions into our production lines. Additionally, you will lead optimization initiatives, troubleshoot complex automation challenges, ensure compliance with safety standards, and spearhead continuous improvement projects.

Reporting to the Automation & Vision Systems Development Manager, you should possess the capability to independently design algorithms to accomplish assigned tasks. Structured thinking and an acute sensitivity to data are essential.
