Position Overview:
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems that support InfoSum’s data collaboration platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, product managers, and infrastructure specialists, to provide robust and efficient solutions. This role demands advanced expertise in backend development, system architecture, and database management, emphasizing performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs tailored to business requirements.
- Diagnose and rectify performance bottlenecks to ensure seamless operation during high-demand periods.
- Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases to ensure data integrity and scalability.
- Adopt security best practices to safeguard data and comply with industry regulations.
- Develop automated testing strategies to uphold code quality and ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams for the seamless integration and deployment of backend services while mentoring junior engineers and fostering knowledge sharing within the team.
- Establish monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve production issues.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and implement best practices to enhance system efficiency and maintainability.
