Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills:Must obtain and maintain a state life and health license in line with IMA standards. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel). Ability to quickly learn and navigate agency/client management systems and related software.

Client Engagement:

  • Maintains consistent and professional communication to cultivate strong relationships with client representatives.
  • Proactively investigates and resolves client issues and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Provides clear answers regarding benefits programs.
  • Conducts compliance reviews and offers guidance on related matters.

Client Meetings:

  • Assists in preparing materials for client meetings and discussions.
  • Actively engages in discussions during meetings.
  • Documents meeting discussions and tracks action items.
  • Manages relationships with carriers and vendors.
  • Supervises new vendor and carrier implementations.
  • Reviews and assesses contracts and plan documents from carriers and vendors.
  • Maintains regular communication with carrier and vendor representatives to advocate for clients and ensure prompt issue resolution.

Communication and Education:

  • Collaborates with clients to establish both short- and long-term employee communication strategies.
  • Creates informational materials to clarify and promote benefits program features.
  • Leads in-person, virtual, and telephonic educational sessions for participants.
  • Regularly updates clients on features and services from carrier and vendor partners.

Internal Collaboration:

  • Actively participates in and contributes to the client services team.
  • Effectively communicates client updates to relevant team members.
  • Assists with various team responsibilities as needed, including covering for absences.
