CORE ACCOUNTABILITIESKey responsibilities include:Oversee and coordinate external calibration service providers, including the review of calibration certificates and resolution of any documentation or compliance issues. Perform both routine and non-routine calibration of GMP and non-GMP instrumentation to support laboratory, manufacturing, utility, and facility systems, utilizing industry-standard tools and methods. Ensure all calibration and maintenance activities are executed and documented in compliance with industry standards and company protocols.

Umoja Biopharma seeks a Senior Calibration Technician to join the team at its Louisville, Colorado facility. This is a fully on-site role, requiring presence at the location five days per week. The focus is on supporting calibration and maintenance for measurement instruments used in lentiviral vector development and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out both routine and non-routine calibrations for production, laboratory, and facility operations.
  • Independently handle calibrations for parameters such as conductivity, pH, pressure, flow, temperature, speed, and mass.
  • Operate within GxP guidelines and Umoja's quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex calibration or instrumentation issues, taking initiative to resolve problems.
  • Coordinate with external service providers to ensure all work meets Umoja's compliance requirements.
