Senior Computational Scientist in Material Sciences at ADIA Lab | Abu Dhabi

Lead the formation of a new Material Sciences research group focused on computational modeling, simulation, and data-driven materials discovery. Advance interdisciplinary research that blends physics-based modeling, data science, and high-performance computing to tackle major challenges in materials for energy, climate, and technology. Design and implement computational frameworks for multiscale modeling, quantum-to-continuum simulations, and AI-assisted materials design. Foster a strong, collaborative research team and network, prioritizing strategic leadership and partnership growth. Engage with national and international research institutions to promote community-driven science and accelerate progress in computational materials research. Establish partnerships with universities, labs, and industry to launch joint programs, funding proposals, and collaborative platforms for materials informatics and open data. Publish high-impact research results, contribute to white papers and global assessments, and represent ADIA Lab at prestigious international conferences. Mentor junior scientists, postdoctoral fellows, and students, nurturing the next generation of leaders in computational materials science. Be instrumental in shaping, expanding, and coordinating the Materials Science group, ensuring its sustainability and global prominence. Collaborate closely with ADIA Lab Fellows and the Advisory Board to guide the strategic direction of materials science research.
