Role overview
As a Senior Consultant - Public Sector, based in McLean, Virginia, this role sits within the Customer Success team. The group partners with clients after the sale to deliver digital transformation solutions using the Appian platform. The work centers on helping organizations gain an edge through technology and strategic consulting.
What you will do
- Lead projects from start to finish: define, design, develop, and implement custom software and AI solutions for commercial clients.
- Work in an agile environment to understand both business processes and technical requirements.
- Deploy new relational data models into production systems.
- Create APIs for integration with other platforms.
- Investigate and apply AI use cases with Appian’s tools, such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and generative models.
- Collaborate with client technical teams and business users throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support clients in becoming self-sufficient with building their own process applications on the Appian platform.
