Position Overview
We seek a talented Senior Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in expanding and enhancing our data infrastructure. This senior, hands-on role will focus on devising robust end-to-end data pipelines, optimizing costs, and reimagining our data architecture to cater to our scalability needs.
You will collaborate closely with Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure that our data platform is reliable, efficient, and financially sustainable. In addition to delivering results, you will help establish technical directions and best practices for data ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption throughout the organization.
Work Location & Hybrid Model
Our work environment follows a hybrid model that merges remote work with in-office collaboration, promoting flexibility while ensuring team synergy.
Preferred Location: Portugal
Candidates located in the Lisbon metropolitan area will be expected to work onsite one to three days per week, with specific days to be agreed upon with your manager. For candidates based outside of Portugal, different onsite requirements will apply.
Other Locations: We also welcome applications from candidates located in Romania, Spain, or Italy, where we have established team members. Successful hires from these locations will be onboarded as contractors via our international payroll partner, Globalization Partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, construct, and maintain scalable end-to-end data pipelines that manage billions of events across web games and platforms.
- Lead the advancement of our data architecture to ensure it supports growth, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Optimize existing infrastructure by identifying inefficiencies, minimizing compute and storage costs, and implementing innovative solutions.
