Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.10-15 years of experience in higher education construction is preferred. Demonstrated expertise in Project Management for large-scale construction programs. Proficient in Design, Architecture, and Civil works. Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and the MS Office Suite. Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to excel in client-facing roles. A collaborative team player with a strong ability to work effectively with others.

We are actively seeking a Senior Design Project Manager to collaborate with our dedicated team and partners, providing innovative design solutions for both new and existing higher education construction projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust architectural background within the construction sector, with substantial experience in Design, Architecture, and Civil works. *This role requires on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and report to the designated Project Manager(s) or Project Director, engaging frequently with clients, consultants, design professionals, and contractors.
  • Assist Project Manager(s) in the effective management, coordination, and administration of projects throughout all design and construction phases.
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional client services, addressing all client needs with the utmost professionalism.
  • Prepare various project documentation, including reports, schedules, invoices, RFIs, submittals, meeting notes/agendas, daily reports, change orders, inspections, closeout materials, and client presentations, while maintaining accurate information in project management software.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with the project team as directed by the Project Manager(s).
  • Communicate conceptual designs clearly and maintain comprehensive project documentation during all project phases.
  • Oversee the Basis of Design, prototype design, and template specifications for architectural elements.
  • Review and provide input on design RFPs.
  • Manage external design consultants through the design and construction processes.
  • Effectively convey design standards to both internal and external project partners.
  • Manage multiple fast-paced projects concurrently.
  • Innovate to find cost-effective solutions during the construction process without compromising quality or reliability.
  • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities as applicable.
