Annually, we assist over 1 million students, a third of whom are first-generation, in applying to more than 1100 diverse member colleges and universities through our free online application platform.

If you are a seasoned K-12 professional eager to contribute to a mission-driven non-profit that leverages innovative technology to enhance the college admissions experience, Common App could be the ideal fit for you. We are currently seeking a Senior Director, Access Partnerships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the Network Growth division and reporting directly to the VP of Network Growth, you will spearhead initiatives to establish, nurture, and expand partnerships with community-based organizations and leaders, from K-12 to transfer and other postsecondary avenues. The Senior Director, Access Partnerships will be instrumental in developing partnerships that utilize technology solutions to tackle barriers and enhance access to post-secondary opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep knowledge and experience in both K-12 systems and higher education. You will create innovative pathways for Common App to engage more students, particularly those from communities below the national median income.

With experience collaborating with state agencies, large school districts, and community-based organizations (CBOs), you will set strategic objectives and work across the organization to position Common App for impactful partnerships that effectively increase student access to our resources for pursuing post-secondary opportunities.

Common App has set an ambitious goal to connect with a greater number of students from underrepresented communities in higher education, and these partnerships are vital to achieving this mission. As partnerships are formed, you will construct and lead a team to ensure seamless collaboration and sustained efforts. Internally, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure that Common App's interactions with states, CBOs, and large districts yield significant impact.
