The Role
At Peregrine, we are on a transformative journey and seek a Senior Director of Total Rewards to architect, develop, and lead the infrastructure that supports our workforce throughout all growth phases. This pivotal role encompasses oversight of compensation, benefits, people operations, HR systems, and workforce analytics, while also strategically shaping the employee experience to position us as a premier employer.
This is a dual role focused on both building and leadership. You will design the foundational elements: creating job architecture, defining compensation philosophies, and developing frameworks for leveling, benefits programs, systems, and processes that will facilitate our rapid growth from hundreds to thousands of employees. Additionally, you will assemble a team of specialists to manage these critical domains alongside you.
The ideal candidate has previously established Total Rewards infrastructures during periods of rapid expansion and has experience in larger organizations where exemplary programs are evident. You possess the knowledge of what effective systems look like at scale and understand how to implement them at various growth stages.
What You’ll Do
Shape the Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to define our approach to attracting, rewarding, and retaining talent essential for building our company. Clearly articulate a total rewards philosophy that balances market competitiveness with Peregrine's growth trajectory, adapting as we scale to become a talent magnet across engineering, product, go-to-market, and general and administrative functions. Be the authoritative voice on how compensation, benefits, and equity synergistically drive desired outcomes.
Design for Scale: Create the infrastructure , systems, processes, frameworks, and team , that will support our expansion from 350 to over 1,200 global employees without causing operational bottlenecks. This role is not merely about addressing current needs; it involves anticipating future requirements and building the capacity to meet them efficiently.
