About the job

DigitalOcean is hiring a Senior FP&A Analyst - Global Lease to manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure equipment leasing across our global cloud platform. This role is based in Seattle and focuses on both the financial and operational sides of equipment leasing.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute leasing strategies that support infrastructure growth, including leading the equipment leasing program and building frameworks for buy-versus-lease decisions and third-party capital partner selection.
  • Act as the main point of contact for financing partners. Track financing terms across lenders (rates, fees, covenants), support lease negotiations and refinancing, and recommend cost-effective financing structures.
  • Manage the lease portfolio: maintain a centralized register, monitor key financial terms (principal, interest, payment schedules, maturity), and identify variances and refinancing opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Infrastructure, Engineering, and Procurement teams to ensure equipment needs and orders are met throughout the procurement process.
  • Oversee operational execution of new leases, including ensuring documentation is complete, validating contracts against vendor invoices, and managing funding with both financing partners and internal teams.
  • Provide financial forecasting support by preparing monthly and quarterly lease schedules, cash flow projections, and structured inputs for budgeting and long-term planning. Support ad-hoc analysis as needed.
  • Establish and maintain processes such as standard templates for tracking and clear workflows for new lease intake, contract approval, payment tracking, and handoff to accounting teams.
  • Serve as the primary liaison and escalation point for stakeholders, including financing partners, Infrastructure, Legal, and Accounting teams.

What We Look For

  • Strong background in managing and leasing data center equipment.
  • Experience negotiating with vendors and working with financing partners.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial and operational processes related to equipment leasing.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
