We are on the lookout for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our expanding Applied AI team. This role requires experienced developers who are eager to quickly adapt to new technologies and work across various layers of the tech stack. You'll be engaged in diverse technologies, from frontend and backend web development to data processing and utilizing LLMs for both internal and customer-facing applications. You'll thrive in a role that balances experimental, rapid-prototyping projects with the development of long-term, sustainable solutions. As a software engineer, you'll be instrumental in transforming project specifications into high-quality, innovative, and sophisticated solutions.

We welcome remote work options across the contiguous United States as we transition to a hybrid work model, which allows for flexibility in how our employees choose to work. While we support fully remote, in-office, or a combination of both, please note that we cannot facilitate positions in California, Massachusetts, New York, or New Jersey.
What You'll Do:
Contribute to the design, development, and upkeep of The Zebra's comparison product and other offerings using Python, Django, FastAPI, GraphQL, ReactJS, and other contemporary technologies.
Produce clear, maintainable, and efficient code across various business areas, enhancing existing cloud-hosted microservices and developing new features to support our expansion into new insurance avenues.
Collaborate closely with fellow engineers, designers, and leadership to swiftly build, iterate, test, and launch new features while ensuring a robust and high-quality codebase.
Enhance and scale current products and tools to support our growth trajectory.
Serve as a technical leader within the team, mentoring and guiding other engineers by setting a positive example.
