This Senior Fullstack Engineer position focuses on a healthcare project: enhancing the Iris Health platform. The platform supports telehealth at scale, enabling virtual consultations, patient journeys, and clinical workflows. Built on a modern serverless AWS architecture, the project emphasizes clean code, developer experience, and engineering quality. The distributed team values inclusion, trust, and collaboration, and operates on Eastern Time with expected timezone overlap for meetings.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain responsive, accessible frontend experiences using Vue.js and TypeScript for real-time telehealth features.
- Design and implement serverless backend services with Node.js and TypeScript, deploying via AWS Lambda and using DynamoDB as the main datastore.
- Own features end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvement.
- Contribute to infrastructure design and provisioning with AWS CDK (TypeScript), working hands-on across the stack including cloud infrastructure.
- Work with AWS messaging services such as SQS and SNS, applying knowledge of queue-based and fan-out architectures.
Requirements
- Experience with Vue.js and TypeScript for frontend development.
- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for backend services.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with AWS CDK and cloud infrastructure provisioning.
- Understanding of AWS SQS, SNS, and distributed messaging patterns.
- Ability to work effectively in a distributed team with timezone overlap (Eastern Time).
