Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or MSEE). Over 10 years of relevant experience in hardware engineering. Proven experience in designing networking hardware, specifically with 100G and 200G PAM4 Ethernet switching. Experience with embedded x86/ARM system design is highly desirable. Expertise in designing multi-layer boards featuring 50G+ signals and advanced PCB manufacturing technologies like sequential lamination and HDI. Experience in managing multi-phase DC/DC converters for high current and transient loads. Familiarity with high-speed interfaces such as DDR and PCIe. Ability to write specifications and create schematics for complex boards. Experience collaborating with CAD designers on intricate layouts and routing. Strong collaboration with software and test engineers for system bring-up and debugging. Understanding of signal integrity and power integrity concepts and tools.

Your Role
As part of our Hardware Design Engineering team, you will spearhead the development of high-speed networking and Ethernet products utilized in enterprise campuses, hyperscale data centers, and advanced AI clusters. You will oversee the complete design and development process of sophisticated hardware solutions tailored to meet the evolving demands of contemporary networking environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting functional specifications for high-power and high-density Ethernet switches utilized in AI networks.
  • Evaluating and selecting components for optimal performance.
  • Conducting schematic capture and tool-based design verification.
  • Collaborating with eCAD teams for PCB layout and component footprints.
  • Executing signal integrity simulations on power and data path signals.
  • Partnering with mechanical and thermal engineers for system layout and physical realization.
  • Defining PCB stackup and fabrication details with various PCB vendors.
  • Developing programmable logic devices for control and timing planes.
  • Coordinating with local and international Contract Manufacturers from prototype stages to production.
  • Conducting lab bring-up and debugging of prototypes.
  • Collaborating with diagnostics software engineers for design validation and manufacturing test development.
  • Facilitating complex system debugging among software, hardware, and test teams.
  • Training Contract Manufacturers to achieve high yield testing and manufacturing.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
