About Our Team:
The Sensors Division focuses on pioneering sensor systems, emphasizing airborne and surface radar, space-based sensing, electronic warfare, and underwater acoustics. This role is situated in the Space Missions and Sensing (SMS) Sector, where we innovate technologies to enhance space-based sensing, control, and counter-sensing missions.
Your Role:
We are looking for a versatile integration engineer to engage in software development, integration, and testing in a Research & Development setting. As part of our team, you will contribute to the development of an advanced space-based radar system. Your duties will include creating operational and testing software, interfacing with test hardware, participating in system integration and testing, conducting satellite operations, and performing data analysis. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement software for operational systems and testing infrastructure.
- Work with RF test hardware to facilitate integration and testing activities.
- Assist in satellite data collection operations.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to define and refine system requirements and specifications.
- Execute performance evaluations through simulations and real-world tests to ensure system efficacy.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts and project updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed documentation, design specifications, test plans, and reports.
Who You Are:
- Possess an active Security Clearance at the Secret level; U. S. citizenship is required by the U. S. government.
- Extensive experience in a Linux environment.
- Proficient in Python, C, or C++ (or other high-level programming languages) for developing real-time systems.
- Experience in preparing and delivering presentations, with familiarity in conducting technical reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience; or PhD. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance.
- In-depth understanding and experience with radar systems.
