About the Role
We are on the lookout for a seasoned and dynamic Senior Manager of Global Payroll to spearhead our international payroll operations. Your expertise in payroll strategy, compliance, and industry best practices, coupled with experience in payroll system implementations across various regions, will be invaluable. This leadership role requires a proactive leader adept at navigating a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and a strategic thinker who can drive process enhancements, ensure compliance with local tax laws, and refine payroll operations on a global scale.
The Senior Manager, Global Payroll will work closely with the People Team, Finance, and People Technology teams to guarantee that payroll systems are optimized and aligned with our organizational objectives. You will be instrumental in implementing new payroll systems and technological solutions, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring a high level of employee satisfaction through accurate and timely payroll processing.
Responsibilities:
Payroll Strategy & Management
- Lead the comprehensive global payroll process for Crunchyroll, ensuring the precise and prompt processing of payroll for all employees across diverse countries.
- Develop payroll strategies, policies, and best practices to maintain consistency, efficiency, and compliance on a global level.
Global Payroll Systems Implementation
- Oversee the implementation of global payroll systems, collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors to integrate payroll solutions effectively.
- Manage system selection, vendor relationships, and implementation timelines to ensure successful global payroll system launches.
- Collaborate with People Technology, the People Team, and Finance departments to ensure system configurations meet organizational needs.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure complete compliance with local, state, federal, and international tax regulations and labor laws.
- Stay informed about global tax and regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
