Senior Manager, Local Media Business Operations

Key Responsibilities:Oversee forecasting and budgeting processes for clubs and Local Media operations. Develop board-level and executive-ready presentations that summarize financial and operational performance, including forecasts and budgets. Collaborate across functions (Ad Sales, Distribution, MLBN Finance/Accounting, Production, etc.) to ensure operational execution aligns with financial goals. Analyze club financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Partner with Accounting to guarantee accurate monthly close results and variance analysis against budget and forecast, including detailed MLBN allocation analysis and team-level variance reporting. Create and maintain KPI dashboards to monitor operational and financial performance metrics. Identify cost optimization opportunities while ensuring operational effectiveness. Assess current workflows and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency and scalability. Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications and Skills:10+ years of experience in sports broadcast television. Proven leadership and people management capabilities, with a talent for building strong partnerships at the MLB club level. Strong understanding of operational finance concepts and the ability to develop processes that deliver reliable results across various organizational levels. A genuine passion for and in-depth knowledge of baseball. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Effective process management abilities. Familiarity with current business software and reporting systems. Highly organized, demonstrating initiative and the capacity to manage multiple assignments efficiently. Adept at thriving in dynamic environments and recommending process improvements.
