We are excited to announce an opportunity to join a pioneering organization focused on developing institutional-grade DeFi operations infrastructure. Our client is in search of a Senior Operations Engineer who will play a critical role in enhancing the reliability of on-chain asset management systems. This organization operates across Ethereum, Arbitrum, and various other blockchain networks, managing vaults, multisigs, and treasury systems where accuracy is vital.
This role is far from typical; it encompasses the entire lifecycle of crucial automation infrastructure, from design and execution to monitoring, error resolution, and continuous fortification. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and observability of systems where operational errors could lead to significant financial repercussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Automation: Spearhead the integration of security tools (e.g., Hypernative) within fortified wallets and Safes. Implement transaction policy scanning and establish comprehensive whitelisting across all operational wallets to comply with institutional standards.
- Automation Reliability: Develop and maintain thorough testing suites for all critical processes, including signer flows, vault onboarding, and transaction validation. Establish and implement tested protocols for every potential failure state to guarantee system resilience.
- Monitoring & Alerting: Create and implement a multi-tiered monitoring system (Critical, Warning, Informational) designed to highlight high-priority alerts. Ensure consistent coverage and clear escalation paths across all supported blockchain networks.
- Infrastructure Ownership: Take ownership of operational pipelines and the security automation stack, proactively identifying and addressing architectural vulnerabilities before they escalate into incidents.
- Technical Standards: Define confidence metrics to assess the reliability of each automation and ensure that all existing security configurations are audited to meet institutional standards.
