About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with extensive functional testing expertise, exceptional skills in Linux and Docker, and the capability to interpret code across multiple programming languages using LLMs (such as C, Rust, Go). You will translate requirements for migration tasks and utilize tools like Roo Code or Claude Code to streamline iterative development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop functional black box tests for large codebases in various source languages.
  • Establish and manage Docker environments to guarantee 100% reproducible builds and test execution across diverse platforms.
  • Oversee code coverage and configure automated scoring criteria to align with industry benchmark standards.
  • Utilize LLMs (Roo Code, Claude) to enhance development cycles, automate repetitive tasks, and elevate overall code quality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, particularly in Python.
  • In-depth knowledge of pytest (fixtures, session-scoped, timeouts) and designing black-box functional tests for CLI tools.
  • Advanced Docker skills (creating reproducible Dockerfiles, managing user contexts, ensuring secure workspaces).
  • Solid Linux & Bash scripting abilities and proficiency in debugging within containers.
  • Familiarity with modern Python tooling (uv, pyproject.toml, packaging).
  • Capability to read and comprehend various coding languages with LLMs (e.g., C, C++, Rust, Go).
  • Experience employing LLMs (Claude Code, Roo Code, Cursor) to expedite iterative development and test-case generation.
  • Proficient in English - B2 level or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with agent evaluation platforms and MCP CLI.

Tools and Technologies: Proficient in Python (pytest, uv, Pillow), Docker, Bash, Git Submodules, C/C++/Rust/Go (reading), Dagger, GitHub Codespaces, LLMs (Claude Code, Roo Code, Cursor), coverage.py, gcov, kcov.
