Role overview
The Senior QA Automation Engineer leads quality engineering across Mesh’s development lifecycle. This position designs and maintains automation frameworks, sets quality standards, and works to embed quality into every stage of product development. Collaboration is key: expect to work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver reliable Web3 experiences. Teams span North America, Europe, and India.
What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright.
- Create test strategies that cover the full stack, including UI, APIs, smart contract interactions, and wallet flows.
- Develop and maintain tests for Web3 user journeys, such as wallet connections, transaction signing, contract interactions, and on-chain state checks.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and monitor their health over time.
- Use AI-driven development tools (for example, Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to accelerate test writing and framework development, and share best practices with the team.
- Identify gaps in test coverage, set priorities, and drive ongoing improvement.
- Promote a culture of quality within engineering.
- Stay current with new testing tools, frameworks, and developments in the Web3 space.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in QA engineering, with a strong focus on automation.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Cypress. Familiarity with other tools such as WebdriverIO, Selenium, or Puppeteer is a plus.
- Proficiency in automation frameworks and quality assurance best practices (additional technical requirements were not specified in the source).
