Role Overview: Senior Recruiter

This Senior Recruiter position sits at the heart of Odyssey’s growth. The role covers end-to-end hiring for a wide range of functions: operations, commercial, product, design, go-to-market, people, and finance. Recruiting here is more akin to executive search than high-volume staffing, every hire shapes the company’s future. The Senior Recruiter partners closely with founders and leaders to bring in top talent in a competitive market.

This role suits an experienced recruiter who values hands-on work and wants to focus on impactful hiring. The emphasis is on quality, not quantity: each search is unique, and every candidate matters.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the full recruiting lifecycle for roles across operations, product, design, go-to-market, and finance.
  • Collaborate directly with founders and hiring managers to define job requirements and set hiring strategies.
  • Source, engage, and close senior and executive-level candidates in a highly competitive talent market.
  • Develop creative outreach approaches to connect with candidates who may not know Odyssey yet, helping to build the employer brand from scratch.
  • Implement and improve structured, data-driven recruitment processes.
  • Use AI tools (such as Claude, OpenAI, and others) to streamline sourcing, outreach, and workflow.
  • Manage the candidate experience from first contact to offer, ensuring a thoughtful and personalized process for every hire.
