As a Senior Sales Engineer at Datadog, you will play a pivotal role in delivering technical expertise through impactful sales presentations, engaging product demonstrations, and facilitating technical evaluations (POVs). Your contributions will help qualify and close opportunities with customers and partners while providing valuable insights to the product team to prioritize features informed by customer, competitor, and partner feedback.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to effectively communicate Datadog’s value proposition, vision, and strategic direction to customers.
- Lead technical engagement with customers during the trial phase, articulating Datadog’s value based on their activities and resolving any identified concerns.
- Close complex opportunities using advanced technical skills and competitive knowledge.
- Conduct product and technical briefings/presentations for prospective clients.
- Maintain comprehensive notes and feedback in CRM regarding customer insights, including wins and losses.
- Engage proactively with customers and Datadog teams to discuss product feedback and competitive landscape.
