We are on the lookout for a Senior Scrum Master to guide and coordinate the Agile Scrum process across our organization, ensuring the effective and collaborative delivery of high-quality solutions. This role emphasizes working with distributed systems, microservices, and real-time data pipelines, collaborating closely with scientific and technical teams in a mission-oriented context.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal, project management, and problem-solving capabilities to partner with the Product Development team, ensuring that Sprint commitments are met on time and to the highest quality standards. Additionally, you will take on the role of a coach and mentor for our team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that team objectives are consistently achieved.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilizing Agile Methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions effectively
  • Training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to adhere to agile values, principles, and practices
  • Collaborating with other Scrum Masters to strategize and implement cross-team dependencies
  • Identifying and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items
  • Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes
  • Monitoring progress and performance, assisting teams in their improvement efforts
  • Planning and organizing demos and product/system testing
  • Ensuring the effective use of collaborative processes and resolving impediments for the scrum team
  • Tracking project processes, deliverables, and barriers
  • Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders
