We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer based in Chile to spearhead our new SRE support team. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for providing support for our MDM platform, overseeing cloud and user access management, monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis to ensure the seamless operation of our cutting-edge mobile point-of-sale platform. You will collaborate with global teams, refine support processes, and help deliver an exceptional experience for both merchants and their customers.

Are you the right fit?

  • Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud operations, platform support, or IT operations.
  • 2+ years of experience in leading technical support or SRE teams.
  • A strong operational support mindset focusing on incident management, user requests, and escalation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cloud technologies, monitoring, and observability tools.
  • Familiarity with incident management best practices and access management concepts.
  • Ability to deconstruct complex problems into structured, actionable plans.
  • Strategic mindset to evaluate options, weigh trade-offs, and design effective processes.
  • Experience working collaboratively with global teams across multiple time zones.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading MDM support teams (Esper, MobileIron, Workspace ONE).
  • Familiarity with major cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience managing both onshore and offshore teams, particularly in the U. S. and India.
  • Experience in 24/7 or follow-the-sun operational models.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills, including process mapping and root cause analysis.

Your Key Responsibilities:

As the leader of our Cloud/SRE support team, you will ensure operational reliability, effective processes, and strong collaboration across global and cross-functional teams.

  • Lead the Cloud/SRE Support team, providing coaching, prioritization, and oversight.
  • Drive team performance while ensuring high-quality support, SLA compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with teams based in India and across functions to achieve alignment and provide 24/7 support coverage.
  • Translate complex challenges into actionable plans and scalable solutions.
