Your responsibilities will include:Leading and nurturing an engineering team focused on delivering runtime enforcement outcomes in a high-severity, cross-organizational domain; defining scope, SLAs, and phased roadmaps. Establishing a single source of truth for scope, operating models, and resilient mechanisms for enforcement. Driving multi-year, multi-team initiatives that define how Databricks enforces Unity Catalog at runtime across various compute types and engines. Introducing tools that enhance automation and operational efficiency of services. Leveraging your extensive experience to assist in prevention and investigation of issues.

This role involves building and fortifying the runtime enforcement layer for Unity Catalog, ensuring secure, consistent authorization, and data access across Databricks compute, engines, and cloud environments. This initiative aims to minimize incidents and streamline customer decisions by harmonizing enforcement semantics.
