The Senior Vendor Relationship Manager plays a crucial role in fostering and sustaining third-party partnerships that yield efficient and high-quality operational outcomes. In this position, you will oversee the performance of our third-party service providers to ensure they meet the expected outcomes within defined service levels. As an integral operations expert, you will collaborate closely with business process owners and liaise across various teams within the organization to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiencies through third-party collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the strategic alignment, health, and scalability of current and prospective third-party partners, facilitate the gathering of sourcing requirements and ensure business readiness for outsourcing initiatives, support the development of business cases for additional spending, assist in Procurement-led RFP and contracting processes, and implement clear commercial parameters to minimize operational risks while enhancing customer experience.
- Build and maintain robust, productive relationships with both internal stakeholders and third-party representatives.
- Review and process financial transactions related to third-party engagements, ensuring compliance with Finance for accurate financial reporting on a regular basis.
- Monitor performance metrics to ensure contractual service levels are consistently met or surpassed.
- Proactively identify and address risks related to third-party engagements, utilizing existing governance processes and recommending improvements where necessary.
- Manage third-party contracts and commercial modifications proactively, including amendments, renewals, and terminations in alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Facilitate regular service review meetings and assist in recognizing needs, defining, and implementing process enhancements for third-party services.
- Coordinate periodic on-site due diligence assessments and audits.
- Collaborate with business process owners and other internal teams to develop and implement secure access, support, and incident management protocols.
- Work alongside internal and external teams on incidents impacting third parties to ensure clarity, resolution, and accountability concerning customer and financial implications and future risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintain and improve a comprehensive record of third-party operators and associated documentation for each third-party service program.
