About the Role
We are in search of a seasoned Smart Contract Engineer to be an integral part of our core protocol team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying secure and high-performance smart contracts that facilitate millions of dollars in daily transactions, ensuring the seamless operation of our peer-to-peer markets.
You will enjoy complete ownership of the process, from conceptualization and architectural design to implementation and deployment, while collaborating with a talented engineering team. Prepare for a dynamic environment that includes the creation of new protocol functionalities, enhancements to developer tools, and rapid responses to the evolving security landscape in DeFi.
Your Responsibilities
We seek an experienced individual contributor who is passionate about transforming complex protocol challenges into secure and efficient smart contracts that drive billions in on-chain transactions.
Develop Secure Smart Contracts. Create, implement, and deploy Solidity-based contracts that are both sophisticated and resilient against vulnerabilities.
Enhance Protocol Functionality. Contribute to protocol-level infrastructure, tools, and features that have a direct impact on millions of users.
Address Real-World Security Challenges. Analyze vulnerabilities, simulate potential attack scenarios, and devise effective mitigation strategies.
Conduct Code Reviews. Engage in thorough code reviews to ensure quality, security, and maintainability of our codebase.
Stay Informed on Industry Trends. Keep abreast of the latest EVM advancements, tooling, and best practices, bringing that knowledge to the team.
Mentor and Collaborate. Share your knowledge with fellow engineers and work cross-functionally with product, design, and operations teams to realize innovative ideas.
Qualifications
A minimum of 4 years experience in writing and deploying Solidity smart contracts in a production environment.
Deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), DeFi protocols, and decentralized application architectures, including experience with decentralized exchanges like Uniswap V2 + V3 and dYdX v4.
Proficient in secure coding practices and vulnerability assessment for smart contracts.
Experience with developer tools and frameworks relevant to smart contract development.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
