Due to an influx of new projects, we are excited to announce an opening for a Software Developer to become part of a dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive on working across various projects and are eager to take on the responsibility of identifying innovative solutions that meet client demands, all while collaborating within a small yet highly skilled team.
Your initial focus will be on a significant project acquired from a prominent client in the Midlands, which entails transferring knowledge from legacy systems and further developing a new system. Once this system is in place, our client will take over its maintenance moving forward.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in legacy Visual Basic Applications. The current system consolidates data from multiple operational systems to generate insightful reports. You will spend the first six months collaborating with the existing team to explore these applications, thoroughly document processes, and facilitate the transition of application support into our client's managed services.
