Role overview
The Engineering team at Higharc is expanding and looking for a Software Manual QA Specialist based in Brazil. This position focuses on upholding quality standards for Higharc’s platform through detailed manual testing. A background in drafting and homebuilding is required to succeed in this role.
What you will do
- Use mid to expert level drafting and homebuilding knowledge to improve the platform’s quality.
- Manually test new features, perform regression tests, and follow complex user flows within a web-based CAD application.
- Write, update, and execute test cases based on product specifications and user stories.
- Work closely with developers and Product Managers to understand technical details and identify edge cases before release.
- Document bugs using the Linear issue tracking system.
- Verify fixes and support QA sign-off for releases.
- Review automated test results and highlight gaps for the automation team.
- Help coordinate QA activities for releases.
Requirements
- Direct experience with production homebuilding documentation.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to communicate software behavior and quality issues clearly.
- Strong focus on data accuracy and quality for builders.
Key qualifications
- Mid to expert level drafter with significant BIM modeling or CAD experience (such as Revit or AutoCAD).
- Over 3 years of experience in production homebuilding, including option management and documenting master plan sets.
