Sous Chef - Crete / LAGUNA

Objective
As a Sous Chef, you will support the hotel in all operations related to the smooth functioning of the department, maintaining high service standards, monitoring hygiene and safety regulations, and achieving the hotel’s objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing and coordinating the daily operations of the hotel’s food and beverage departments (scheduling, operational plans, cleanliness, reservations).
- Monitor customer satisfaction, focusing on improving and developing services, and respond promptly and professionally to any requests.
- Oversee the department's operational budget.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant area (cleanliness plan).
- Actively participate in staffing processes in line with the company policy and values.
- Guide and train staff based on high-quality standards.
- Supervise compliance with ISO standards and ensure the proper implementation of hygiene and safety regulations in food and beverage departments.
- Oversee the operation of PDAs and coordinate their distribution among waitstaff.
- Supervise orders, deliveries, and inventory of supplies and consumables for the department.
- Manage the reservation system and issue reservation lists.
