Position Title: Specialty Sales Representative

Summary of Position:
The Specialty Sales Representative plays a crucial role within Paratek’s National Salesforce, focusing primarily on engaging with primary care physicians and podiatrists, while also reaching out to dermatologists as secondary targets. This role requires the effective use of data analytics, sales tools, and clinical insights to formulate a comprehensive business strategy. Successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills and clinical knowledge to enhance the adoption of Paratek’s products among relevant patients, expand usage among existing customers, and foster relationships with new healthcare providers, office personnel, and other stakeholders to meet territory, regional, and corporate sales goals.
Position Responsibilities:
- Engage with targeted prescribers in the designated geographic area.
- Deliver clinically-focused sales presentations to introduce and promote Paratek products, striving to consistently meet sales objectives.
- Implement tactical strategies in alignment with company directives to boost individual, regional, and overall company sales performance.
- Adhere to Call Plan expectations and achieve sales goals while complying with all Paratek policies, including the company’s Code of Conduct.
- Educate and promote company products to targeted healthcare providers through direct meetings, group presentations, and approved promotional programs.
- Collaborate closely with the Regional Business Director and regional team members to fulfill sales targets.
- Utilize effective communication, sales, and negotiation skills to engage customers, ensuring the use of appropriate terminology and approved messaging.
- Demonstrate proficiency in selling through various channels, including virtual interactions and face-to-face meetings.
- Maintain positive and compliant relationships with all healthcare providers and their staff.
- Accurately report sales activities, manage territory expenses, and submit written reports within the specified deadlines.
