Soundly Speaking Therapy Services PLLC is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to work with adults aged 21 and older who have Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in Dallas. The position centers on providing in-home therapy, supporting clients as they work toward their communication goals in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel throughout Dallas to deliver individualized therapy sessions in clients’ homes.
- Document each session and promptly share updates with families and case managers.
- Adapt and use provided therapy resources to meet each client’s needs.
- Treat a variety of speech and language disorders among adult IDD clients.
- Develop and implement therapy plans that address both short- and long-term goals.
- Submit session paperwork within 24 hours of each visit.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records in accordance with HIPAA and other regulations.
- Communicate regularly with families about progress and ongoing needs.
Requirements
- Current Texas-issued Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant License.
- Openness to learning and adapting within our therapy framework and resources.
