Key Responsibilities:Manage relationships with foundries and large-scale production partners for state-of-the-art device platforms. Identify and select optimal development and production partners based on specific device and technology platform needs. Collaborate with research scientists to refine existing process flows for effective foundry scale integration. Work alongside product teams to ensure production timelines align with target specifications and volumes. Facilitate the transition of technology and intellectual property from IonQ's research initiatives to external production partners.

The Role:

We are seeking a Staff Engineer in Foundry Management. In this role, you will join a dynamic, cross-functional team dedicated to advancing IonQ's mission of developing the world's most advanced quantum computers to address complex global challenges.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the transition of cutting-edge nanofabrication technologies from small-scale fabrication to mass production in foundries. Collaborate closely with research scientists, engineers, and product managers to prepare existing fabrication workflows for foundry integration, establish relationships with production partners, and ensure that device production meets specified timelines and quality standards.
