What You’ll Do:

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Storage Engineer to significantly contribute to the design, construction, and management of our control plane for a high-performance AI storage platform. You will help advance CoreWeave’s storage systems by developing reliable, scalable, and high-throughput solutions that support some of the largest and most innovative AI workloads globally. This position requires close collaboration with teams across infrastructure, compute, and platform to ensure our storage services can scale seamlessly while maximizing performance and reliability.

 

About the Role:

  • Design and implement a highly scalable multi-tenant control plane to meet CoreWeave’s expanding AI storage and cloud infrastructure demands.
  • Contribute to the development of exabyte-scale, S3-compatible object storage, distributed file systems, and the integration of dedicated storage clusters into diverse customer environments.
  • Utilize technologies such as RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, RoCE, InfiniBand, SPDK, and distributed file systems to enhance storage performance and efficiency.
  • Engage in initiatives to improve the reliability, durability, and observability of our storage stack.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to monitor, analyze, and optimize storage systems using telemetry, metrics, and dashboards to enhance performance, reduce latency, and improve resilience.
  • Work cross-functionally with platform, product, and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless storage capabilities across the stack.
  • Share your expertise and mentor other engineers in best practices.
