The Opportunity
The AI Generation Engine (SAIGE) team at SandboxAQ is at the forefront of developing and validating AI-first SaaS products that utilize our Large Quantitative Models (LQMs) and innovative agentic frameworks. Operating with exceptional agility, this team bridges the gap between advanced AI research and production-grade software, enabling new applications across the organization.
We are in search of a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer who will take charge of the entire ML lifecycle, from initial data exploration and model design to scalable production deployment. This role is pivotal in creating and refining AI-first products that leverage our LQMs and sophisticated frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach and a strong passion for overseeing the complete model development process. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Data Acquisition and Curation, Infrastructure, Pre-Training, Evaluations, and Fine-Tuning. As one of the founding engineers of the SAIGE team, you will connect groundbreaking AI concepts with practical, real-world MVPs, driving impactful solutions.
In this role, your primary objective will be to rapidly iterate on various potential solutions to construct and assess new models, emphasizing speed and measurable results. You will collaborate with a diverse group of software engineers and ML experts to deliver innovative products that have a transformative impact on businesses and society.
