Role overview

The Strategic Account Manager - Life Sciences (US Remote) manages and grows relationships with H1’s most significant clients, focusing on the top 20 pharmaceutical companies. This position works directly with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to align business objectives with H1’s offerings and deliver measurable results. The role involves expanding business across multiple units, regions, and product lines, while building lasting partnerships and maximizing client value.

Main responsibilities

  • Act as the executive-level contact for strategic accounts, building trusted relationships with C-suite, regional, franchise, and business unit leaders.
  • Lead Executive Business Reviews, manage renewals, and proactively address risks to support account retention and customer loyalty.
  • Represent H1 on customer steering committees, aligning client priorities with H1’s strategic direction.
  • Create and implement multi-year account strategies to grow H1’s presence through cross-selling and upselling.
  • Identify and pursue new business within existing accounts through targeted outreach, engagement events, and networking.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer initiatives, industry trends, and emerging needs to anticipate opportunities and deliver value.
